Students learn by active participation: by doing. They gain greater understanding by being active participants in their own learning.
Students become more confident communicators: They develop greater facility in using more complex language structures and a broader vocabulary. I aim for clarity of speech, animation of face and vocal expression. In addition, their co-operative skills in partner and group work develop quickly and are drawn on readily.
They learn to take control of their own progress and they are excited by the opportunities presented to them in each lesson, using the strength of the group as a major resource.
Students make significant progress with their personal decision making abilities, listening skills and developing their power of independent thinking, not to mention their literacy skills.
Many parents report that my lessons are the highlight of their child’s week. I certainly aim to make this true.
